Shady, Xin Tian Di
Summer is slowly rolling in this year, and with its gradual appearance I’ve started to see the gradual reappearance of some of China’s most functional summertime gear. For those of us on wheels, there’s nothing worse than being pelted by a wide range of airborne debris while also being assaulted by the wide range of forms of transportation that crowd Shanghai’s streets. But only the former can be alleviated, with most opting for sunglasses and sometimes even goggles… But for the most extreme protection and coverage, one needs a Vader Visor.
It’s not that scary until someone looks directly at you… and then it feels like they want to kill you. Or at least f you up. I mean, there are probably some nice old Chinese granny faces behind those masks, but these will make almost anyone look like a badass.
