Nike just opened an amazing new exhibition called “Nature Amplified” on Sunday night on Xin Le Lu which drew a surprisingly stylish crowd.
I’m not surprised that Nike had a lot of cool customers, but I’m just usually pretty bored with peoples’ outfits at events and openings and I wasn’t really expecting anything vastly different from one of the world’s largest brands.
But above and below are just two examples of the cool cats that attended, and there were plenty of others… But it is awkward to take pictures at events, especially at ones where you know a lot of people.
I love how people re-interpreted the active, athletic ethos of Nike. Most people didn’t adapt it that much, but overall it was a very cool crowd with quite a few exceptional attendees.
Anyway, here are some pictures from the exhibition, which I highly recommend anyone in Shanghai checks out.
The exhibition includes installations from young, local creatives like Super Nature, but for me Universal Everything was the real draw. It is really something to experience yourself, so I’m not really going to post too many pictures because no amount of images could capture the essence of the installation. So just do it!
