I’ve also noticed parks in China–more than anywhere else in the world–are where people feel freest to do as they please, as if the park is their own back yard. It’s a great place for foreigners to get a peak behind the curtain of daily life.

Yes, parks are a great way to see that no matter what ethnicity or background one is, we are all essentially the same… No matter where you are in the world, people pretty much do the same things in parks (except China probably has some of the most street dancing)
